The CHRONOTHEORY&Co AV-98 Piano Forte Black CTW-027-Black debuted in 2025 as part of the brand’s inaugural release. This version features a black polished lacquer dial with yellow gold-colored applied Breguet numerals and matching hands. The 42mm stainless steel case is inspired by mid-20th-century dress watches and manufactured by Kyowa Seiko. It is cut from a single block of steel, with three-dimensional curved surfaces and precisely machined lugs featuring deployable planar surfaces at 3 and 9 o'clock. The finishing includes Zaratsu polishing and hand-finishing to reduce optical distortion. Water resistance is rated at 6 ATM, supported by full gasket integration across all junctions, including a box-shaped sapphire crystal. This watch is powered by a manually wound 6498-1 CT EDITION, based on the ETA 6498-1 and custom-finished by watchmaker Yutaro Iizuka.
