Description

The CHRONOTHEORY&Co AV-98 Timpani Rose CTW-027-Rose debuted in 2025 as one of three colorways in the first release by the independent Japanese brand. It features a brushed bronze-tone dial with applied silver-colored Breguet numerals and matching hands. Light passing through the lacquered brass creates the impression of the numerals floating above the surface. The stainless steel case measures 42mm in diameter and is manufactured by Kyowa Seiko, known for their work with Minase. It is milled from a single block without soldering and features multi-axis curved surfaces and parallel polished lug tops. The case is hand-finished, including Zaratsu polishing, to eliminate surface distortion. It is water-resistant to 6 ATM and fitted with a domed sapphire crystal. Inside ticks a manually wound 6498-1 CT EDITION, based on the ETA 6498-1 and modified with a Triovis regulator.
