Description
In contrast to a diver's watch, the bezel of a pilot watch is rotatable in both directions. An additional minute scale on the ring can be used as a navigation aid in visual flight. When starting, the zero point is set to the minute hand and thus the flight minutes are counted on the bezel. A pilot flying by sight can thus, for example, look for visual cues after a known number of minutes and initiate a change of flight direction in his course. In everyday life, this time marking is used especially in sports as well as in leisure and household activities. The second version of the rotating bezel with an hour scale offers the option of reading two different time zones simultaneously – particularly important for business people and travel enthusiasts. Rotating bezel insert options: 60-minute countdown or 12-hour ring
