Patek Philippe Complications
5235-50R-001
Annual Calendar Regulator 5235 Rose Gold / Graphite
Description
The Patek 5235 is somewhat of an odd bird - and perhaps that's why its a watch favored by die-hard collectors and aficionado's. Patek is known for many things, but stepping out of their comfort zone is generally not one of them - and likely their preference for tradition is one of their strong suits. With the 5235 however Patek seems to have walked a different path. It combines a rather unusual mix of technical features and complications - it is wound via a micro-rotor, displays time through a regulator display and has an annual calendar displaying through three departures on the top of the dial. And to top it all off, it is the first regular production Patek to feature the this includes the silicon Spiromax balance spring, silicon Pulsomax escapement and silicon Gyromax balance. Ref. 5235/50R-001 was launched in 2019. It features a rose gold case paired with a graphite dial with black sub dials.
